The world's first successful implementation of heavy ion radiotherapy was initiated in Japan, and Japan's clinical research is the most advanced in the world. Therefore, patients from all over world are looking forward to undergoing this therapy in Japan.
We have prepared a reception system so that patients from all over the world can undergo this advanced therapy. Specifically, we provide a series of services including preparations for entry into Japan, treatment in Japan, and aftercare following the return home, in cooperation with medical interpreters and coordinators with specialist knowledge. We are doing our best so that patients can undergo the therapy at ease, without feeling stress due to differences in language and culture.

Reception of doctors and researchers from overseas, and popularizing heavy ion radiotherapy around the world

Heavy ion radiotherapy, an advanced treatment technology, is attracting the attention of doctors and researchers from all over the world. As a pioneer of this technology, we have concluded partnership agreements with a number of medical and research institutions overseas, and have accepted their doctors and researchers. We are now teaching them therapeutic approaches and how to handle the equipment, by means of practical on-the-job training.
Currently, the practical operation of heavy ion radiotherapy is not yet common in countries other than Japan. We are supporting other countries by popularizing this treatment technology around the world, so that it can be implemented for as many people as possible.
